Field effect Transistors

3RD YEAR - CONTROL THEORY

I worked with PID controllers to regulate a DC motor using Simulink and physical hardware. I tuned proportional, integral, and derivative gains to optimize system performance, observing effects on rise time, settling time, and steady-state error.

I applied step response analysis, Bode plots, and root locus techniques to evaluate stability, predict system behavior, and guide controller adjustments. Implementing the controller on a real motor allowed me to troubleshoot practical challenges like sensor delays, friction, and noise.

This experience strengthened my skills in MATLAB/Simulink, control system design, and experimental problem-solving, providing a solid foundation for applying theoretical models to real-world systems.
